The NGO Regulatory Authority (NGORA) is informing NGOs that the deadline for the submission of 2022 reports remains 31st July, 2023 and that there will be no further extensions to the reporting period.

The Authority is also reminding NGOs that report submission is strictly online using the myNGO platform at www.myngo.mw. Submissions through email or hard copies will not be accepted and NGOs submitting reports in any way other than through the prescribed means shall be considered noncompliant.

NGOs with an annual income below 100 million and are unable to conduct external audit are reminded that they will be allowed to report without audited financial statements by using a prescribed form available at https://www.ngora.mw/download/prescribed-report/ or on request through email to registrar@ngora.mw. These NGOs should still submit their audited financial statements by December, 2023.

NGOs that did not have sufficient funding in 2022 are advised to inform the Authority in writing of the status. The Authority shall suspend the obligation of such NGOs to pay annual fees until they acquire sufficient funding according to Regulation 6(2) of the NGO Fees Regulations.
